Take Ferry a ferry to Toronto Island and enjoy its beach on summer times.

From the city, head’s up to  south to The Jack Layton Ferry Terminal, formerly called the Toronto Island Ferry Docks located in the Toronto Harbour, behind the Westin Harbour Castle Hotel and adjacent to Harbour Square Park.

From there you can take a quick 15 minutes ferry to go to Toronto Island, witch is virgin compare to her big sister the massive City of Toronto, on the main land.

In summer, when the mercury is close to 35 Celcius, you can take advantage of the island to refresh yourself on its beaches or for a romantic picnic with a view of the magnificent city sitting on the shores of Lake Ontario.
