The toad : sign of positive change, fertility and wealth

One night last summer, after stumbling over a toad almost every night as if it was trying to get in my way on purpose, I decided to do some research about the meaning because I thought it was so weird. Although basically I'm not a superstitious person.

To my surprise, I learned that for millennia toads have been worshipped in different cultures for different reasons, but generally these reasons are positive in nature.

Some of the elements and words associated with the sight of thats are luck, purity, rebirth, renewal, fertility, transitions, dreaming, opportunity and the process of metamorphosis.

In China, the frog is considered the emblem of Yin energy and it is a sign that you will soon receive good news which is usually wealth.

In Egypt, Heket was the name of the frog-headed god associated with fertility and births.

Finally I am still waiting for this wealth which is slow to come but which is coming soon, I am sure. 😅
